(father of Ramses II). It stands in a beautiful area surrounded by palm trees. The decorations and architectural solutions used during the reign of Seth were very rich, the builders did not save money and kept every detail. The area of the church includes the royal palace and the chapel of Ramesses I. Late afternoon is your free time. U can decide what u want to do. For example: you can sit on the Nile coast in a cafe, admire the sunset, try a horse-drawn carriage ride, which gives the city a completely different feel than if you were in a car. If you want, you can market it and try to bargain or you can go to Papyrus Museum also. Day 3rd: Today’s first destination is the most famous building complex in ancient Egypt, the nearly 4,000-year-old temple complex in Karnak. Walking through the building’s column hall, you feel like you have stepped into the land of giants, because not only is the age of the building remarkable, but also its dimensions. We have created a unique route that will take you through a comprehensive view of this wonderful complex of buildings. You’ll have a unique experience staying with us! After a visit to the exciting Karnak temple, a delicious lunch will be fine. From lunch we return we visit the Luxor Temple. Standing in front of the entrance pylon of the Luxor Temple is the Great Pharaoh II. You can admire two colossal sitting and four statues of Ramses and a 25 meter high granite obelisk. As you stand there, you will become a part of today’s history, as the four standing statues have only been reinstated by the Egyptian archaeological authority in the summer of 2019, after lengthy research. Before that, no one could see the Luxor Temple in this form except the ancient Egyptians. Experience the miracle, become a part of history! Another interesting feature of the temple is the Abu el Haggag Mosque in its courtyard, which was built on a Christian temple. This can be viewed on request. Then we take the water bus and go to Banana Island. Want to know what the banana tastes like locally? The “Banana Island” – as its name suggests – is full of banana trees, where freshly picked bananas can be enjoyed locally in the shade of the mangoes in the coastal outdoor cafe. You can eat as much as you want, they put it on the table, you don’t even have to ask! It’s a very nice place. It is a wonderful experience as the sun sets and illuminates the city. Relaxing, soul-lifting. Day 4th: Today we leave Luxor and visit three special places. One hour from the first Luxor, the city of Esna, where you can meet a unique temple. The temple is almost nine meters below the current height of the city, and although the hypostyle hall has been excavated, the rest of the temple is still hidden under what is today the modern city. Horus is waiting for us after Esna! More specifically, a temple dedicated to Horus in Edfu. Its gate is the second largest after the Amon Temple in Karnak. As we tour the temple, we deepen our knowledge with ancient figures. We learn how to read numbers with hieroglyphic symbols. It’s easier than we think! The rest of the day we visit Komombo. The interesting thing about the church is that it was built for two gods !!! We will never see anything like this in Egypt! Because it is built by two gods, it has two shrines. The southern part of the building is Sobek’s and the north is Horus’s. During the excavations, a lot of crocodile mummies were found, which can be viewed in the Crocodile Museum next to the temple (the ticket price also includes a visit to the museum). During the day, we have lunch as part of the program. Returning to Luxor we have dinner and return to the accommodation. Day 5th: Today we cross the Luxor west again, so we cross the Nile. We are going to a less visited but special place, II. Ramesses’ mortal temple, the Ramesseum. Its dimensions are amazing. After the temple of Karnak we can again admire II.Ramesses megalomania. Continuing our journey the mourning temple of Rameses III, this is Medinet Habu. To this day, the pillar hall in the church still adorns its original color. Here you can easily imagine how colorful the ancient Egyptian temples were. We’ll have lunch before the next attraction. Medinet Habu is followed by Deir el Medina. Here we visit the tombs of Pasedu and Sennedjem. Pasedu and Sennedjem Ancient Egyptian Craftsmen I. Sethi and II.
